Brackmills Road Closure: Caswell Road

Employees and visitors to Brackmills Industrial Estate are being advised of road diversions as Caswell Road sees the addition of a much-needed pedestrian crossing.

Please be aware that there will be road closures across Brackmills Industrial Estate from today (22nd February 2021) starting at Caswell Road as work begins to implement a pedestrian crossing.

Between 22nd February and 8th March, the installation of the controlled crossing will take place with anti-skid surfacing being added on 28th March. This will be on Caswell Road at the bottom of Hardingstone Hill, near Brackmills Trade park.

The road closures will happen at the following times:
• 22nd February to 5th March 9am – 5pm for general excavation and installation works.
• 5th March between 8pm – 6am for surfacing and road markings.
• 8th March 8pm – 6am Ironwork Replacement.
• 28th March 8am – 4pm Anti-skid surfacing.

Further work is scheduled for the Gateway Roundabout.

Please allow extra time for your journey onto the estate and take additional care when approaching the Caswell Road roundabout.

Brackmills Industrial Estate Limited is encouraging businesses and employees to use the entrance and exit routes either via Bedford Road or Landimore Road.
