A notice for all drivers (logistics, staff, and visitors) to Brackmills Industrial Estate – please be aware of road works taking place as you enter/exit the estate from the main way via the A45 past Barclaycard. To avoid traffic and delays please use the other entrances and back roads where possible.
Brackmills BID have released a statement:
Please be advised of the new roadworks on Brackmills on the Gateway Roundabout near to Barclaycard. This is short notice as the certificate for works has only just been agreed this morning [30th November 2020] by the Council.
These roadworks are part of the electric cabling for the New Rail Freight terminal to be built at Junction 15 of the M1.
The team working on this electric cabling project will gradually be moving across the estate and will eventually join up the different sections early next year. The current works will start at the top of Rhosili Road, skim along the outside lane and move along Caswell road onto Gowerton Road to then join up to the bottom of Landimore Road.
Please be patient with these works. If you can use you the other two entrances and exits on the estate from the Bedford Road and Landimore Road, it may speed up your journey.
Thank you in advance.
